On Sunday the Ohio State Buckeyes traveled down to the University of Dayton for the 4th game of the season.
UD went up 1-0 after an early break away goal, but OSUFC responded before the end of the half. Senior Dillon Ricketts sent home a powerful header from the back post in his first appearance for the team to level it 1-1 going into halftime.
In the second half OSUFC pulled away. Freshman Sam Agranoff and and senior Brock Hersch added some great play in the midfield to start many of the attacking chances. President Mike McKune put away the second goal after Ross DiDonna sent a ball into the box on a free kick. McKune tallied his own second goal of the day a few minutes later when he scored by chipping the Dayton goalkeeper from midfield. The final goal of the day was scored by Ricketts by beating the UD defender down the left side of the field and slipping it past the keeper.
The Buckeye’s now face Bowling Green State University on the 24th at home.
