Quentin Kraft, Joe Villari, Nathan Cotton, Jared Pradarelli, and Chris Gerace have graduated from OSU
OSUFC would like to thank our seniors for a memorable 4 years. The 5 men accumulated an astounding record of 44 wins, 7 losses, and 5 ties in four years. While wearing the OSUFC crest, these seniors have led the team to 2 Sweet 16’s and 1 National Title.
Quentin (Q) Kraft has graduated with a BS in Biology with a minor in Business. Q has accepted a position with Cardinal Health and will be working in their Medical Sales Development Program for 15 months before becoming an official Medical Sales Representative. His favorite memory was winning the national championship his junior year. “Winning the National Championship was one of the greatest displays of team collaboration I’ve ever been a part of.” Quentin’s leadership skills on and off the field will no doubt propel him into a successful career.
Graduating senior Joe Villari has earned his BS in Human Nutrition. Joe was accepted into the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and will be continuing his education this fall. Joe’s favorite memory was winning the National Championship is Memphis during his first year on the team. The club is very lucky to have Joe on campus again in the fall and look forward to his continued involvement and leadership with the club.
Former Captain Nathan Cotton has graduated with a BS in Neuroscience with a minor in International Studies. Cotton is excited to work on managing Sarah Grace’s campaign for State Representative in Ohio’s 94th District. He has extensive experience in the political field and even worked on the Presidential Campaign for Bernie Sanders during this past school year. Cotton’s two favorite memories are scoring the winning goal against Iowa in the 2013 Regional Semifinal, as well as captaining the team to the 2014 National Championship. Nathan introduced the pin-passing ceremony this year and his influence on the team will be felt for years to come.
2015 Captain Jared (J-Prad) Pradarelli has graduated with a BS in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Jared will be moving to Spain in the near future to work as an Au Pair for a year. After his year in Spain, Jared plans to attend a physical therapy school to work towards his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. J-Prad’s favorite memory during his years as a member of OSUFC came at the beginning of his senior year. “The night we made the final cuts for the team this year was my favorite memory. Getting to call and offer all the new recruits spots on the team was thrilling. Knowing that the team was set for the year was a powerful feeling. Knowing that this was the group of guys that would perpetuate our legacy was very fulfilling for me.” Jared was a phenomenal leader during his senior season and will definitely be missed.
Senior Chris Gerace earned a BS in Biology with a minor in Biopsychology. Chris’s academic efforts has provided him with the opportunity to have a choice in attending either Law School or Med School this fall. Although he is not sure where he is going to school this fall. His favorite memory was competing at Nationals in Memphis, Tennessee his freshman year. He enjoyed the opportunity to compete against big schools like Texas A&M, Auburn, and Penn State. The club is fortunate to have had Chris and his passion for the game come through the program.
A few days after graduation, OSUFC held a Senior Send Off practice. A new tradition began as graduating seniors passed on an Ohio State pin to someone they believe had made an impact in both their personal lives, and their lives as an OSUFC athlete. This year’s pin-winners were Nevin Anandika (awarded by Joe Villari), Ross DiDonna (awarded by Chris Gerace), Mike McKune (awarded by Jared Pradarelli), Niko Strickler (awarded by Quentin Kraft), and Craig Zahour (awarded by Nathan Cotton).
Congratulations to the Class of 2016!
